There wasn’t a sewage system until 1850 and it’s believed the deaths occurred due to parasite from human excrement entered the water supply. Three Presidents who died were Zachary Taylor (November 24, 1784 – July 9, 1850), William Henry Harrison (February 9, 1773 – April 4, 1841) and James Knox. Polk (November 2, 1795 – June 15, 1849). When Willie died he was only 12 years old.
