Joseph Stalin was a Soviet Dictator. He ruled the Soviet Union for almost two decades. He advocated the policies of Stalinism and it was his Red Army who defeated the Nazis and ultimately ended World War II. His was a regime of terror and death. Additionally, millions of people have died under his regime due to factors such as famine, war, executions, deportations and mass repressions.
